yes, i signed up for an art show/auction thingy at expo.  am i foolish?  perhaps.  too late to regret now.  no it's not the artist alley; that would suck up too much of fun at expo.  i signed up for a 1.5' x 3' panel and i continue to wonder what the hell am i doing.

my comp is still down but not for long 'cause it's just the hard drive that's messed up.  so once i get a new hard drive and plug in the right plugs, everything should go right (except when i need it most like writing up essays for the end of semester).

right now i'm working on art show things.  no, not artist alley, no no no.  art show, art show (some people seem to think it's the same thing).  yeah, i'm gonna show some (approx. 4-6) new pieces and have them auctioned off at expo.  yeah!  $$$$.  yes, i'm going to expo to those who don't remember.

aight.  my mind's been made up.  i've been debating this for over a month and (besides not updating anything really "new, oh wow, original" stuff) decided to do commissions.  yup.

so i'll be accepting, for now, five commissions every month or until i think i'm good enough to do more.  let's see, i'll draw anything (^^'' - hopefully) except porn.  i know i know but umm, keep the rating at r (though with ratings these days . . .).  tasteful nudity is okay but on my discretion.

well, the 4,000 mark has come and gone.  lots of thanks for those who've been watching this journal.  will post 4,000 artage of something hopefully sooner than later.

been noticing that i've been updating art less frequently; at a rate of two per month at most.  that's not good.  but with the loss of tablet, i suppose so did most of my motivation to complete what i've been drawing.

oh!  i completed (almost) a fanart of skip beat! which needs a bit of tweaking here and there.  did lots of character designs (okay i lie, i've done only about two).  i think i'll just post

starting to go back to university this fall and the move is gonna be oh so expensive.  so at the moment, i'm too tired and anxious to actually finish a drawing.  but i'm not too tired to draw.  oh no.  once i'm settled where i'm settled, i'll post up some stuff i've been workin' on.

ngah, finals are finally over.  month long winter break here i come!

except without my tablet and computer.  oh well, guess i've got to do things traditionally right?  in any case, i'll spend break drawin'.  yay!

i'm hoping that it's not a childish internet prank but deep down i've got a sad feeling that it's really true.  i've always admired her artwork, have so since stumbling across her really awesome rurouni kenshin artwork from way back.  since then, i've seen her artwork improve and become something more than just rk fanart.  her stuff is filled with such emotion and depth that you get what the artist is trying to convey and you can't help but be immersed in the world she created.

i won't be uploading art stuff for a while 'cause my comp is acting, uh, like it's gonna die even though i've reformatted it and everything minus sound.  it was all my fault somehow i dunno what.  i can't wait to hear my bro-in-law when he checks it out.  but it doesn't matter, it's quite old, close to four years?
